Cinder foaled a beautiful filly on May 16, 2010, by our stallion, Killian's Irish. This foal is a full sibling to her first foal, Keegan. Click here to visit her page.
Cinder is our 2005 mare who has really come into her own as she matures. She is Stevie Down's bred, being the daughter of the Rocking Horse and out of the Martha Mare. We appreciate Cinder for her abundance of hair, substantial bone, and thickness of body. She is conformationally correct and has a huge, ground-covering trot.
Cinder's first foal, by our stallion Killian's Irish, was born on May 27, 2009. We are very happy with this colt, who possesses the best of both his sire and his dam. At age 11 months, Keegan measures a solid 13.2hh. Photo below is of Keegan at the 2010 Ohio Equine Affaire.
We can't help but notice the similarities of this colt and his dam. She is pictured below at the 2007 Ohio Equine Affaire. She is a full year older than Keegan at the time the photos were taken.
Cinder's second foal, a filly, was born on May 16, 2010, sired by our stallion, Killian's Irish. We think that Lily is a smoky black, but DNA testing must be done to confirm.
Cinder has participated in the Equine Affaire, breed shows, 4H demonstrations, and even visited a local church during their Vacation Bible School. No matter where we are, she is always an outstanding example of the breed and its gentle temperament. Enjoy the following photographs of Cinder at these events and just hanging out in the field.
