DNA color gentics:  We have not tested Rowan, but we know he must carry a single cream gene, a single agouti gene and at least a single black gene.  He also shows sabino markings above hocks and knees, a dripping blaze, and a small belly spot.

     Now a 2 year old, Rowan is staying at 13.3hh, but he is hip high again.  He is such a nice mover with the sweetest of temperaments. 

     Rowan is almost 2, but staying on the smaller side, currently measuring 13.3hh.  He will be leaving for his California home in the fall of 2011.

     Below is Rowan at 17 months.  He is such a nice mover, always balanced, deliberate, and fluid.  He has great show ring potential with color and chrome as icing on the cake! 

     Shown at 15 months, Rowan measures 13.1.  He is extremely athletic, easily moving off at any gait balanced and deliberate.  He is a joy to watch playing in the pasture.

           Rowan attended the 2010 Ohio Equine Affaire.  Although he was initially a bit concerned, he quickly settled into the chaotic atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed the attention.

     Below are photos of Rowan at 9 months and a body clip.  We were suprised at the amount of body mass this colt has.  He wasn't as much fluff as we thought!  His head is still hairy, but he is much more comfortable in the spring weather without his winter coat.

    Savannah foaled a beautiful buckskin colt on the night of June 17, 2009, and we couldn't be happier with what our stallion is putting on the ground.  Little Rowan has attitude plus!  He is very forward, checking out everything around him with little hesitation.  Hands down, he is the nosiest horse in the barn!

     This colt gets your attention with his color and alert nature, but seeing him move can keep you watching.  He has beautiful extension and seems to move effortlessly.  Rowan is very deliberate and slow-legged in every gait.

     The following photos are a collection of our favorites of Rowan.  There are quite a few because he rarely takes a bad photo.
